How long does it take to immigrate to Canada? What is the fastest way to PR?

I'm just curious to know:
1- What is the average time to get PR among all the programs that are available?
and
2- Which program would have the fastest route to PR among Canadian immigration programs?

That's a really good question. I've been wondering how long does the average PR process take myself.
The only way that comes to my mind is to check the Canada Processing Times.

At the moment it says the processing time for federal skill worker programs (I assume they mean express entry) is 31 months!
That seems a bit excessive. I think they are still counting the Covid processing time in their averages.

Has anyone recently had any experience with PR and can tell us how long it took?

At the moment, after you submit your full application to express entry (this is after you receive your ITA), it takes about 7 months to get your PR. I would say that is the shortest time for getting PR.
There's a reason why they call it 'Express Entry' 😄

Everyone who goes through other paths such as provincial nomination for PR has to spend more than that since many of those programs eventually go through the express entry system too.

Currently I would say the fastest time of getting PR is 7 months. But anything can change and we could see this time going down.
