What score is considered good for Express Entry?

Hi everyone,
What score would be good for express entry. I'm currently at 479 and want to know what the chances are that I would be selected.
Should I count on being selected with my score or find another way to immigrate to Cananda?

I would say currently you need to be around the 480 and above mark to be selected

This is probably the best source that can answer your question. This page below shows you the number of people with different score waiting in the pool for Express Entry. Using this you can see what points you will need to get to move up a level.

Canada roughly invites about 110,000 applicants through express entry a year. Remember that new applicants can always join the pool. With that information you will be able to have a good guess if you'll be selected or not.

Don't know if you just saw but the points went up a little bit. The latest draw had a minimum score of 507.
Express Entry
I'm hoping this is something temporary and we'll see the express entry points go down again.

timbrake You were right. The express entry score went down today to 490. I hope they keep going down like this!

I think you'll just need to wait a bit and you'll see that the express entry scores will go down.
2023 just started and IRCC is still trying to implement their new system for selecting people. Usually when it gets closer to the end of the year IRCC rushes to get their quota of immigrants through express entry and you'll see the scores go down then.

Is there a schedule to express entry draws or are they done at random?

papio I think there isn't an official schedule. But based on experience it averages out to about once every two weeks or so.

Last draw that happened yesterday with a minimum score of 893. Basically this means that anyone that had provincial nomination was selected. I seriously doubt that there could be someone who has a score above 850 without a provincial nomination!
